With iOS 26, you can now:
⢠Turn on Call Identification so your iPhone checks Apple Business Connect, carriers, and call ID apps to figure out whoâs ringing you.
⢠Screen or silence unknown numbersâyour iPhone answers on your behalf, asks whoâs calling and why, then tells you so you can decide if itâs worth picking up.
⢠Send unknown calls straight to voicemail or filter out spam entirely.
Basically, itâs like having your own executive assistant for phone calls. Of course, this also changes the dynamic when youâre calling someoneâsuddenly youâve got to justify yourself just to get through!
