Hey, it’s Day 101 — we’ve officially stepped into the triple digits of the year, and I wanted to share a productivity principle that keeps smacking me in the face when I forget it: Parkinson’s Law.

It says that work expands to fill the time available for its completion. Simple. Obvious. Yet so easy to ignore. Whether it’s a report, a meeting, or writing a book — if you give it all week, it’ll take all week.

In this off-the-cuff riff, I talk through:

  • Why “more effort” doesn’t always equal “more impact”
  • The mindset shift that helped me write The 2-Hour Workshop Blueprint in 52 days
  • Why giving yourself a fake deadline might be your smartest move
  • Using time constraints as rocket fuel (and how I gamify my own day)
  • High-Intensity Interval Performance (my HIIP framework) for energy and action
  • How busy-ness can mask as value and sabotage your wellbeing

Set the timer. Skip the overthinking. Let’s make some moves.
