🌴114. The real ones always make time

Today’s episode isn’t polished. It’s a reflection on someone who made a big impact on my life: Lindsay Gasman.
He was the kind of guy who gave you a nickname the first time he met you. Who said yes to wearing a Santa suit in 38-degree heat. Who would stop what he was doing—no matter how busy—to talk to you like you were the most important person in the room.
I drove to Maryborough today to attend his funeral. And during that long drive, I had time to think. About missed opportunities. About how often we tell ourselves, “I’ll catch up with them one day.” And how that day doesn’t always come.
This isn’t a motivational episode. It’s a human one. A reminder that time slips away—and that some people truly do role model what it means to be present, generous, and unforgettable.
Listen if you’ve ever thought, “I should reach out…” and haven’t yet.
