In order to be completely mentally healthy, we need a lot more. And basically what we need is something called flourishing. Let’s learn more about it and understand what it means to flourish and thrive so in return, we can live valuable, meaningful lives. We all have the potential to flourish, listen in to hear how.

Dr. Maike Neuhaus a self-proclaimed self-leadership and flourishing fanatic. From a young age, she has been fascinated with the fact that some people seem to thrive in life, while others get in their own way. She studied psychology, did a doctorate specializing in behavior change techniques, and learned what humans need in order to create a life of meaning and long-lasting happiness. 

To date, she has helped thousands of people build healthier and happier habits through her coaching and signature program FRESH START. Maike practices what she preaches by living on her own terms and traveling the world with her husband and two kids.

I met Dr. Maike when we both attended a Team Management Systems (TMS) accreditation program. She walked into class with a leather jacket, a motorbike helmet, and was questioning study validity, and I was like, “Who is this cool person?” We kept in touch over email, Maike and her family moved to Europe but since she’s been back, we’ve been having conversations, like we had today, in person, in cool places, and it’s one of my favorite things to do.
